Description

This 7" vinyl record features the iconic band's "Love Me Do" (1962 Ringo on drums version) plus “PS I Love You”, both written by Lennon-McCartney and produced by Sir George Martin. This is a beautiful (EX) pressing of this Capitol Yellow/Orange Swirl 1962 song version single. It first came out in Canada in 1963, a few months after the UK October premier!!

Note: all of these Canada Capitol Swirl Love me do 45s (that I have seen) have the “Side A” and “Side B” info on the label left side. Supposedly there are a few hundred pressed without that on the labels!!

The record grading is Excellent (EX) and the sleeve grading is also Excellent (EX), a unique to Canada black and white Capitol Company Sleeve. I do not grade unsealed items higher than EX. This is the finest copy of this record I have owed, out of about 10. Awesome vinyl and Labels and Sleeve!!

This 45 RPM record is in Mono for both songs (neither had an EMI Stereo version in the 60s!!). The release title is "Love Me Do” and “PS I Love You”, and the Canada Capitol catalog number is 72076. The record is perfect for collectors and fans of the British Invasion and rock and roll.
