NOTICE: READ CAREFULLY!! there are issues with both Record and Picture Sleeve. Read all this info for details!! This is a Rare BEATLES 45 EP. 4 Songs. All Classics!! From The Early 1964 period! On the Beatles Mexico MUSART Black with Rainbow edge Labels, an Original press from 1964!! All HARD to find! These labels were only used from 1964 and 1965, then Capitol took over for Beatles discs in Mexico!! There were only 13 original Beatles Musart EPs issued!! Then 23 Different Beatles Mexico CAPITOL Black label EPs issued. Beatles Capitol EPs were on Black Labels with Rainbow trim, 1966-1969, similar looking to both US Capitol and VeeJay Rainbow labels at that time!! This EP has same 4 songs taken from UK LONG TALL SALLY EP in early 1964. All 4 songs were on worldwide 45 Singles somewhere in 1964 including 2 in US!! This 45 Vinyl Condition is Goldmine VG, my Third highest of Four grades (EX, VG+, VG, VG-). it’s mostly shiny with some scuffs and marks, but clean and plays thru well, even with the vinyl crack at 2 o’clock on both sides!! I ADDED A SMALL TAPE ON OUTER EDGE TO SUPPORT THE CRACK!! See photos 2-3!! ALL 4 tracks play thru well with minimal noise (all 4 are loud tracks). A good copy for its age! Nice to own till a better one is found! That’s what I did! This vinyl would be VG+ if intact!! The labels are clean with light wear, and NO writing! VG means Nice, Collectable, Worth Saving and Having for a collection, till a better one comes, especially when it’s a rarity like this one, it’s too rare to throw away. I keep EX, and VG+, until I find an EX (Excellent) to replace it!! This record is Very Good for 55 year old vinyl. A SUPER Collectable from South of the border. These Beatles Singles and EPs from the 60s and 70s are fantastic Collectables!! Contains 3 Rock and Roll cover songs and one L-M song from their early Years: LONG TALL SALLY and I CALL YOUR NAME plus SLOW DOWN and MATCHBOX. All 4 were issued worldwide as singles in several countries!! And this comes with Nice Picture Sleeve. BUT, it also has an issue!! Back side of sleeve is a photocopy of the original, in color!, and pasted on! Still Nice but not fully original! Why?? Unknown!!! This also comes with Common White Sleeve. And this set of 13 Mexico only Musart Beatles EPs all had many different cardboard Picture Sleeves. It’s taken me years to try to collect the whole set of 45 EPs! The whole set of Sleeves is impossible! Dozens!! All songs here are MONO! And all the Original 60s Beatles 45s were MONO until Get Back. Stereo did not become common on 45s till 1969! See 45cat discography for details, it’s my favorite record site! Request both my lists if interested, Top 100 Hard to Find Beatles Songs on 45 Singles Worldwide, or Beatles 150 Songs in Stereo on 45 Singles Worldwide, no charge.
