The BEATLES 45 rpm vinyl record. Apple Labels. Issue FO148. Released in 1970 and then continuously included in the 1972 Flash Back series and the 1976 Oldies But Goldies series, same issue number throughout. All France Beatles singles thru 1970 were issued Mono including this one. Some became Stereo as reissued in 1972 and stayed that way as reissued in 1976. This Vinyl is Goldmine VG, playable but scuffed, but with clean labels. Essentially with a new unused EX Fantasy Picture Sleeve. Excellent is as good as it gets in my 50 year old World of Records. Special note: France Flash Back and Oldies but Goldies Series of 36 Records are great sets. See them all on 45cat.com. A great discography site. These two songs are **MONO** , OBLADI OBLADA and WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS were generally worldwide released in Stereo. About 5 countries continued to release the Beatles in Mono thru 1969-70. These Two classics are from the Beatles White Album of 1968. Both are worldwide common, released in many countries. Neither are on my Beatles Top 100 Hard to Find Songs on 45 Singles Worldwide. But France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Holland released them in Mono, as the Beatles originally intended all their records to be released. Note, France reissued numbers with 2C-006..... indicate 1972 (or earlier back to original release date) and 2C-010.... indicates reissue from 1976, and 2C-004.... indicates even rarer 1974 reissue. 5 records from the set kept their original issue number from ‘67-‘70. Two different sets of Picture sleeves issued with each set in ‘72 and ‘76. In ‘74 they continued with the Flash Back PS set. That Flash Back set of Sleeves is awesome but minimum $25 each (record and sleeve). Half the songs are Stereo, Half Mono, but many of the Stereo tracks are ONLY from France. I search Worldwide for Beatles 45s in Stereo and Mono. So far I have 150 known Beatles songs on Stereo Singles. Request my list if interested! Sleeve was purchased several years ago to go with a record I had no sleeve for. Fantasy sleeves are usually about $10, and nice items. This one is EX with cool cover picture.
