THE BEATLES

I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND / I SAW HER STANDING THERE

RARE 1st ISSUE WALTER HOFER / DIE-CUT PICTURE SLEEVE

You have to be very careful when buying this that you don't get a fake or one of the re-issues! I can put you at ease knowing that not only is this the real deal but it is the best of the best!!! This is the 1st picture sleeve put out by Capitol.

Authentic 1964 picture sleeve with the die-cut thumb tab! No fakes have ever been verified with the die-cut only the straight cut. Paul is holding a cigarette in his hand! (not air brushed out as in the 20th Anniversary issue) This original does not have periods placed in the Capitol logo in the top right of the sleeve. (the 30th Anniversary issue has periods in the logo) NO SEAM SPLITS, NO STAPLE HOLES, NO TEARS, TAPE or WRITING!!! Only a small T shaped blemish on the "B" side. The "A" side with the die-cut is a beauty for framing as you can see!!! With the record part way in you can see how nice and smooth the top opening is! Not even much of a record impression and only slight wear. The die-cut is more rare than the straight cut! Therefore more desireable to collect!!!

This 1st issue vinyl is a prize all by itself!!! Just look at those NEAR MINT labels! This is an original WALTER HOFER 1st issue!!! (2nd issues were "GEORGE PINCUS & SONS" & 3rd issues "GIL MUSIC".) You won't be disappointed in the beautiful vinyl! A couple of light hairlines on the "B" side that don't effect the play at all. Both sides are TEST PLAYED w/ NO SKIPS!!! This is FABtastic vinyl with a nice gloss! THIS IS THE ONE THAT STARTED ALL OF BEATLEMANIA IN 1964!!! I sold one of these on April 21st for $90.99 without the WALTER HOFER 45 version! Check out item # 310135670700. Fast shipping! Comes in a plastic sleeve.
