Up for auction is a West Coast picture sleeve for the Beatles'...
"EIGHT DAYS A WEEK" b/w "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party"  Capitol 5371
Up for auction is an original West Coast picture sleeve for this title from Capitol's Los Angeles factory.   Typical of these sleeves is the discoloration of glue that adhered the seams together.   Other than that factory originated quirk, this sleeve is as close to MINT as I have seen.   No creasing.  No record impression.  No ring wear.  No writing.  There are no splits!   This is a beautiful copy in VERY NEAR MINT condition.  See pics, please.
CRISP CORNERS!  NO WRITING.  NO SPLITS.  FLAT!!!  SPECTACULAR!
I bought this in Colorado Springs at the Record Warehouse in 1975-1976 when I was a teenage Beatles  collecting nut. Has been store upright in a plastic sleeve for almost 40 years in my mini-crate of Beatles singles . . .

To be CLEAR - this IS a WEST COAST VERSION with the "thumb tab". I have a couple of these sleeves and it looks like some of the first pictures I uploaded show a different version, but look at the last picture to see the correct sleeve. Thanks to the eBayer that pointed out my mistake!
