Description
The BEATLES 45, a Super-Rare (1 country only) pairing, actually released in 1972 with a flurry of about 50 various Apple singles (group and solo) on original APPLE labels. This pairing of songs ONLY available from VENEZUELA. Both songs from “The Beatles”, THE WHITE ALBUM. The A Side is OBLADI OBLADA, and the B Side is HONEY PIE, the true rarity and even more rare it is mistitled as WILD HONEY PIE. It actually is the Side 4 HONEY PIE (“She was a working girl, north of England way….”). Both songs only together on this 45 Single, worldwide!! This Goldmine condition is VG+, my second highest grade, mostly shiny, but some scuffs and marks, a few more than EX allows, but good enough to collect, especially for such a rare Collectable. HONEY PIE is a stock 45 single only from VENEZUELA (and also as a promo single ONLY from VENEZUELA, backed with HELTER SKELTER!!!). It will be cleaned with disc cleaner. And it plays great, both sides, No skips! There may be some scuffs and marks! And nice labels, but A Side has initials in ink!! B Side label is clean but has wear! Sorry! I’ve only seen this single twice in 10 years! See photos 1-6, actual item for sale! I play tested it and both sides play LOUD and with little alternate noise!! NOTE: lthe rarity value of this disc is super high since it contains a super-rarity song, released only as 45 in ONE country!! For me NM is Still Sealed! 1) EX is my highest grade, no need to search for better, Proud to own, EXCELLENT!! 2) VG+, mostly shiny, it’s fully Collectable till an EX can be found!! This one is VG+!!! Lesser, and rarer from me would be 3) VG and 4) VG-!!! Mostly kept for rarity value only!! These old 60s singles were made tough to hold up to high humidity and lots of wear and tear. This of course is a super Rare pairing of Songs worldwide, 2 songs from 1968 during the height of worldwide Beatle dominance, when nearly every song by the boys was released on a Single somewhere!!! In fact every Beatles song till “Think For Yourself” (Rubber Soul) was on a 45 Single somewhere worldwide, and only 12 of 225 Beatles EMI songs were NOT on a 45 Single or 45EP somewhere worldwide, the first was Being For The Benefit Of Mister Kite (not on 45 anywhere!!). HONEY PIE is Number 8 on my HTF List, while OBLADI OBLADA is Common, not on my HTF List!! Common means from US or UK or JP. THIS IS THE ONLY WORLDWIDE PAIRING OF THESE 2 SONGS!! Both are MONO on this VN disc!!! Stereo became common on 45s on 1969, but older recordings often stayed Mono when reissued!! If interested, Request my list of Top 100 Hard to Find Beatles Songs on 45 Singles Worldwide, Or the 150 STEREO Beatles Songs on 45 Singles Worldwide. No charge. Best to every fan. See photos 1-6 for actual sale item. Ships with Black US Apple Company Sleeve, and Ships in common White sleeve. NOTE: Price may seem high. But this record is super-rare and VG+. Still Collectable! This is ANOTHER RARE INTERNATIONAL BEATLES Single. I am beginning to sell off a whole set of about 150 Beatles International Singles, all EX or VG+, from my personal collection!! It may take 6 months or more! Price reduces weekly till sold! Who else does that?? All my packages ship for $5 total thru USPS Media Mail or Global Shipping Program. So look for others!! Best to all! Questions?? Beatle Lew.
