For sale are three Beatles vinyl releases which include The White Album (Apple, SWBO 101) The Beatles ?– 1962-1966 (Capitol, SKBO 3403) The Beatles ?– 1967-1970 (Apple, SKBO 3404).
This lot of three Beatles releases have more than just the hits, it features an amazing assortment of their classics and most ambitious achievements.
The Beatles White Album is by far one of the more experimental albums from The Fab Four. As well as being the most contentious releases the band made (it was the catalyst for their eventual break-up) it also posed in stark contrast to all their previous studio albums and had countless unusual approaches to the production! Most of the songs for The White Album were written during a Transcendental Meditation course with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Rishikesh, India, between February and April 1968.
The additional two albums are compilations which were released in response to the bootleg album Alpha and Omega. These compilations have most of the Beatles's hits and then some. Four discs that are comprised of the singles from 1962-1970.
An amazing collection that play great with the exception of one side of twelve!!
Disc plays VG - EX and shows light to moderate play wear with mostly superficial needle marks, and although there's a handful of scuffs on all but 62-66 (which is EX, closer to NM) the only disc that plays with any sort of noticeable surface noise is disc two of 67-70!
Jacket is VG - EX with minor corner dings as well as edge wear with some seem splits to the spine and a bit along the top but none on bottom. There's a spot below the Alto logo where a sticker used to be, hardly noticeable.
Shipping is $6 in the U.S.
Combined shipping available if requested.
