CONDITION OF THE RECORD:
(IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, we grade ALL records under a strong, diffuse room light or discrete sunlight).
- WE GRADE THE VINYL AS 'BORDERLINE' NEAR-MINT- (NEAR-MINT MINUS) NOTE>NOT MINT or NEAR-MINT. This album may not qualify to be graded NEAR-MINT- by using stringent, rigorous grading. However, we believe it is extremely close to NEAR-MINT-. At our risk we will grade it as 'BORDERLINE' NEAR-MINT- due only to very minimal 'gray scuff' (probably caused by shelf storage), and a few, minimal superficial, surface 'hair-like' light lines/scuffs (seen only under bright light) CAUTION>a couple (2-3), may be longer than 1.14 inch (1 inch=2.5 centimeters). These light imperfections DO NOT AFFECT THE LISTENING EXPERIENCE and are probably not sufficient to significantly lower the overall grade . However, please be forewarned; if you are a demanding collector, this album may be STRONG VG+ for your standards, or below your expectations. Please inquire if you need more information.
- The records are pressed on a beautiful high quality, thick, semi-flexible vinyl, which is used for the first or very first early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, bright and rich in quality.
- The original luster is very much intact, the vinyl is beautiful.
CONDITION OF THE 'GATEFOLD' COVER:
THE COVER IS QUITE NICE; GRADED VG+
The following flaws or imperfections are found on the cover:
White cover shows little wear; some dirt scuffs (of course, on a very white, 40 year old+ cover); to some not significant. Few, very small surface, 'hair-likes' (not significant), and 1 or 2, superficial 'hair-line' nicks (not significant). Corners show little wear, of which mostly are shown on the opening side corners (not sigificant). On a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and 10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of cover wear as a 3>.
