Description
After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a rare, one-box EMI Parlophone stereo pressing of the Beatles LP 'Help!'
In 1969 Parlophone underwent two significant changes. Firstly, the 'Sold in the UK' statement was finally removed and then, very shortly afterwards, the whole label design was changed to what is known as the 'silver on black' layout. Initially, for the first 2 years, these labels only carried one EMI logo which was at the bottom. In 1971 a second was added to the top.
These 69-71 'one box' copies were not around for very long and because they were released at the time of Abbey Road, Let It Be and the groups' early solo work the original Parlophone albums, especially the early ones, only sold in tiny, tiny amounts! Today collectors are now realising just how hard to find these are!

The cover is looking a little tired for its age and has slight damage to the bottom of the front cover, but overall is holding up okay. The front is pretty pale (most covers yellow very noticeably( and has some light wear and laminate creasing around the edges and corners. The bottom seems to have a little water damage and has damp spots, yellow spots and the like. I've taken a close-up photo of this damage and shown it above. Top and bottom seams are both holding tightly with no wear or splits. The spine is unworn and unsplit and is fully legible with just a few little laminate creases running through it. The back cover has yellowed slightly with a little dirt buildup at the mouth and a few other marks and rubbing. The bottom has some light damage, like the front. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : EX

The playing surface has a good shine to it and just a few little, light, faunt scuffs that I can just about see. Can't really see anything heavier.

The labels are clean, crisp and clear with bright text. There's some light but noticeable spindlewear around each centrehole and some whitening as can be seen in the photos above.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
