Description

The Beatles Abbey Road
Apple PCS 7088 1969 UK LP
with Apple logo misaligned on rear cover and without 'Her Majesty' credit on label
matrix numbers: YEX 749-2/YEX 750-1 First Pressing -

A very desirable example first pressing having both the label and sleeve differences making this by farthe rarer version, pressed only for a very short time before these two mispressings were picked up and ammended,
I have played this album through and it was a real pleasure -beautifully clear sound that merits a very high grading - no surface noise and obviously no annoying skips or jumps and quiet in between tracks - that's important especially on an album like Abbey Road - It's a great sounding Beatles album from start to finish -
Both labels are beautifully clear and clean unmarked graded close to Mint condition - side1 dark green Apple showing remarkably only couple of plays - side2 is the same and of course showing No credit for Her Majesty,
Visually vinyl is extremely glossy and bright showing clear unworn grooves - side1 on close inspection has two very light hairline marks which of course do not affect any sound graded close to N/Mint side2 is superb and graded N/Mint it's a lovely piece of vinyl, Sleeve is a beauty which is of course laminated both sides and still has that new glossy feel to it - superb both sides and showing the all important misaligned Apple logo on the rear - complete with it's white 'patent applied for' inner,

This Abbey Road is getting increasingly more difficult to find and in this condition it won't fail to impress,
