Previously unreleased 45!  Only 11 of the 29 colored vinyl 1994-1996 CEMA Special Markets Beatles singles hadn't already been issued as 45s. These singles are the most highly sought-after in the series.  While My Guitar Gently Weeps on blue vinyl and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds on red vinyl are among the scarcest, and so is Across The Universe/Two Of Us on clear vinyl. The Capitol colored vinyl 45s are the rarest stock-copy Beatles singles ever released in the U.S.; there were between 10,000 and 20,000 copies pressed of each "FOR JUKEBOXES ONLY!" 45.  This was a sign of the times; by the mid-nineties the era of the 45RPM record seemed to be over.  Juke-jobbers, for whom the series was created, had already moved to CD jukeboxes.  They didn't want the records, so Capitol sold them to chain stores and mail-order companies just to get rid of them.  The rarity of the 30 colored vinyl Beatles 45s is impressive compared to the countless millions of '60s orange-and-yellow swirls and the immense flood of orange, blue, and purple-label reissues of the '70s and '80s.  This is one of the second 15 records in the series, a previously unreleased on 45RPM single!  The entire series includes eleven singles that had never before appeared as U.S. 45s (and two others with alternate flip sides).  It's been 19 years since Capitol released the last of these beautiful records, and rapidly-increasing values reflect their rarity.
