1965 ~ S&R INTERNATIONAL ODEON RECORDS ~ STEREO
VERY RARE GERMAN PRESSING AVAILABLE BY MAIL ORDER ONLY
A great disc first and foremost, but also among one of the brightest and best overall front covers of the Era. the jacket is very similar in composition to the jackets of Great Britain in the 60's, a slightly lighter gauge of cardboard was used and so typically the jackets could and would take on many scars from handling, this one is in beautiful condition all the way around. LOW OPENING BID AND NO RESERVE AS WITH ALL MY NON BIN AUCTIONS
VINYL is VISUALLY GRADED as NEAR MINT and PLAY GRADED as NEAR MINT MINUS No scratches, No hairlines or heavy scuffs, one 1/5th of an inch spot on track 3 of Side One there is an indication of a needle drops which produce a pair of tics (small clicks...no pops) and extremely minimal paper scuffing from light movement from paper inner to turntable and back. A fair amount of original rainbow sheen remains and indicates fair play but very good care over the years...general play wear which does not effect playback to any negative degree. Plays beautifully throughout, I suggest testing the play with a bit of weight added to your tone arm as this does affect removal of the tics as described. The SIDE TWO label has a single initial in very fine, light pen over the letters S and R, these are almost impossible to see but are there, you may attempt erasure, but I leave it to you.
JACKET is VISUALLY GRADED as EXCELLENT In overall great shape without ring wear, No seam splits or writing and it has square corners and the title seam is fully legible and very clean. No writing, no marks, rips, tears or damage....As previously mentioned this is a lighter gauge jacket and so it shows a bit of handling wear overall, but nothing to take away from it and I would grade it up a notch but do not believe in EX+ but rather NM as the step, this is just short of a NM rating.
THE INNER SLEEVE is ORIGINAL and MINT/LIKE NEW!
