THE BEATLES ANTHOLOGY 1, ANTHOLOGY 2 AND ANTHOLOGY 3 IN A LIMITED EDITION NUMBERED (#385) CUSTOM GREEN BOX. The complete anthology series, 3 triple albums, 9 records in all, plus a custom designed box to hold them. On the front of the green box is a metal plaque that tells the limited edition number (there were only 5000 worldwide. The back of the box is divided into four parts, each one containing a red and gold picture of one of the Beatles. The box contains an 8" X 10" Certificate of Authenticity, a black Beatles Anthology tee-shirt, a clear plastic Beatles Anthology paperweight and four 8" X 10 "black and white pictures of the Beatles.   

This complete set is from my personal collection and I am the original owner. I bought the green box from a retailer and I have never stored records in it. The green box is in excellent shape (the color has lightened along the creases). The Certificate of Authenticity top left corner is bent and the top right corner is slightly bent. The tee-shirt has never been worn. The paperweight has remained in the box. The black and white pictures of Paul and George are excellent. The top left corner of John's picture is bent and torn. The top left corner of Ringo's picture is slightly creased. I've been trying to research the green box and its contents, but I've only been able to find one of them - on ebay - and that auction said theirs was the only one available worldwide.

I bought the records in 1995 and 1996 from a retailer and I have never played any of them. In fact, I'm pretty sure I never even removed the records and sleeves from the jackets. They have the green apple on the spine, no capitol logo. The barcodes on the back all say UK:PCSP 72 and end in 7, 8, and 9. Anthology 1: 1995 UK Apple 7243-8-34445-1-9. All four corners, front and back, look excellent. The spine on the left is still square and the one on the right is still square at the bottom and slightly un-square at the top. The barcode label ends in 727.  Anthology 2: 1966 UK Apple 7243-8-34448-1-6. All four corners, front and back, look excellent. The spine on the left and on the right are still square. The barcode label ends in 728.  Anthology 3: 1996 UK Apple 7243-8-34451-1-0. All four corners, front and back, look excellent. The bottom of the spine on the left is still square and the top is slightly un-square. The spine on the right is still square. The barcode label ends in 729.

I am not a dealer or a professional grader, I'm just a former collector trying to get a fair price for my records. All three jackets look like they are in excellent shape to me. I mostly scanned the green box and it's contents. I tried to get a good scan of #1 top right spine and #3 top left spine, so you can judge the condition for yourself..
