The Beatles ?– Abbey Road
Label: Apple Records ?– SO-383 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo, Los Angeles Press Country: US Released: 1969
Original 1st Issue LP  Abbey Road was the only Beatles album to have print-on-board covers upon initial release.  This is considered Cover version #3 (pasted slick over cardboard),  necessary when Capitol ran out of the one piece covers and had to order the paste-over  to fulfill the initial orders.  Cover photo is enlarged/cropped so that the manhole cover is NOT seen at the bottom of the photo,  as it is in other printings of the cover. Label has "MFD. BY APPLE RECORDS, INC" in green print at the bottom perimeter of side 1. Her Majesty is listed on the label but NOT on the cover.
Still in original cellophane shrink wrap w/ store price code stickers
Cover: EX LP: NM
STRICT Goldmine Magazine standards used for evaluation
