Here we have quite a rare copy of the fabulous Beatles' Abbey Road LP courtesy of my old Scouse mate Laurie. This old copy is an original pressing with the rare misaligned Apple logo on the back, lurking off towards the opening. Also missing from the B side label is the credit for the song Her Majesty which creeps in at the very end after The End. The disc has been played a good few times in its long life and still sounds great but I must draw your attention to a very small scratch on Something which jumps once, going 'I don't want to leave her now/I believe and how'. It's a bit annoying but may possibly be fixable or may benefit from being played with a weightier arm. The cover has some minor wrinkling in the laminate but no dreadful creases and the spine is clearly legible. The dead wax matrices are YEX 749-2 with 4 at west and DRL at east while the other side has YEX 750-1 with 1 and MDA. It would benefit from a clean as there are a few fingerprints on the surface and some very minor scuffs that don't sound. A lovely album which I still have my own copy of, and although this copy does have a small fault is still a nice piece of kit. Come and have a look.
