Description
BEATLES: Abbey Road, UK mid-70s Apple pressing, with ULTRA RARE laminated 'clouds cover'. I have only heard of this but never seen it, til I saw this copy! A true Beatles rarity. Apple PCS 7088. -4, -2U matrixes.
This striking difference between this cover and all other Abbey Road variations are the non-airbrushed clouds in the sky!! A comparison picture is present, the thin white clouds are clearly visible. On all other copies I have ever seen (must be 1000+), the clouds are airbrushed away. Even if this is a mid-70s pressing, in a way this is an earlier stage of the cover design: this is what the original Abbey Road cover design could have looked like, if they hadn't decided to airbrush the sky a uniform blue. All in all, brilliant Beatles rarity.
VINYL is EXCELLENT, a few light hairlines, plays great.
COVER is EXCELLENT with a few light lamination creases only.

GRADINGS
- MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
- EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
- VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
- VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
PLAYGRADING
I play-grade parts of or whole LPs to determine the actual sound-quality of the item. Palygrading is done on a quality system with an Linn LP12 as the main source.
SHIPPING
I SHIP IN BAND NEW CRUCIFORM shipping boxes with stiffeners & extra corner protection always added. .The boxes are slightly bigger than the normal LP-size, thereby providing good protection of corners and edges. I remove LPs from sleeves, in order to prevent seam-splits on transit.
