Description
Here is an exceptionally well kept 1969 UK pressing of Abbey Road. This is the version with the aligned apple insignia on the back cover (see pic #3), very dark green labels with the "33?" text centered beneath "An EMI Recording" (see pic #4) and credits for "Her Magesty" on the B-side label (pic #5). The Side 1 matrix is YEX 749-2, and the Side 2 matrix is YEX 750-1. The vinyl is in excellent condition, very close to M-. Playback is quiet and excellent throughout with some faint crackle in the silent grooves. The cover is a gorgeous VG+, with a light bend at the bottom right corner (pic #7) and the very subtle beginning of a split on the upper seam (about 1" long—see pic #8). Beautiful copy.
