Up For Auction:

Third State Butcher Cover, Original Stereo Pressing of "Yesterday And Today."

The number beside the RIAA symbol on the back is 5, the matrix #s end in A-17.

Vinyl is VG, pretty covered in surface marks & scuffs but playback is good with fairly consistent but non-obtrusive surface noise. Labels have some spindle marks and side 1 has what appears to be the word "KLINE" written along the top edge in ballpoint pen.

Sleeve is VG, there are a couple of points where the "peel" went too far and removed some of the bottom corner (see detail below) the larger & obvious one it directly above the lower one on Paul's knee. The back cover has some staining & discoloration. Additionally, the words "Roo Phillips" (I think) are written along the top edge in blue pen and there is a small faded stamp near the bottom opening edge (both are shown in detail below). The bottom edge has a small split at the opening edge & a longer one in the middle. Beyond these, there is some edge wear, corner wear is minimal.

The passage in the sleeve description should read  "Sleeve is VG, there are a couple of points where the "peel" went too far and removed some of the bottom COVER (see detail below)" NOT CORNER. Please excuse the typo, the large white spot IS damage to the butcher cover (or bottom cover (corner by mistake) as I worded it in the description).

On Mar-14-10 at 18:45:40 PDT, seller added the following information:

I have also just realized that the spine is split for about 3" through the word "STEREOPHONIC." I previously mistook the split for a crease. Please note that I would now grade the cover as VG-.
