The Beatles Collection. New Zealand BC13 . Blue Box. Red letters and 14 LP with the Red Capitol "Rarities" LP. 
This is one of several variations of the New Zealand box. 

Unique New Zealand issues with ‘canvas’ look finish on the box. Comes with large extra poster which is a blow up of the white album pictures.

This particular variation has most covers made with a matt finish, all except Rubber Soul and Sgt pepper. Other interesting cover variations include With the Beatles with a sepia tone sleeve, Beatles for Sale variant cover with error - titles missing, and white inner gatefold, Sgt Pepper (single sleeve) , White Album with unusual YEX and SWBO matrix, Let It be (red apple) Abbey Road (rear white border), Yellow Submarine with rear red lines. Additionally a number of LP’s are pressed from UK stampers, and others are locally made cuts. Details as follows:

hybrid matrix - with disc 2 cut from US stampers. Oddly, the original 1968 1st press had these US stampers crossed out and YEX numbers too. This has the US matrix and NO YEX numbers.

Box : These boxes are usually faded and split. This one has a lovely lid, unfaded, no splits, Rear tray has 'creases' on two corners. One edge of one corner has a small repaired area of 3cm where the blue paper has torn on edge but has been reglued.Still very very nice presentable box.

Poster : Large poster of white album photos  is EX. Still folded as it came.
