From my personal collection of UK Beatles Albums.This is the 4th UK pressing of the Beatles album Please Please Me. The album is particularly rare not just for its super condition but because the cover was printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Most covers that were issued with this album were printed by E.Day & co. Garrod & Lofthouse flipback covers for Please Please Me are the most sought after and rare to find but in this condition is very rare indeed. The original vinyl has barely been played no more than a handful of times in my opinion and the playing surface is excellent! The audio is absolutely stunning throughout,
clean, clear audio very very special copy indeed. A true rich bassey feel throughout as perfect as could be when played with a dedicated mono cartridge in my opinion. These early monos must be the only way to hear this album

This is complete with the original poly lined Emitex record sleeve with no splits or tears.

Please Please Me is the debut album by the English rock band the Beatles. Parlophone rush-released the album on 22 March 1963 in the United Kingdom to capitalise on the success of the singles "Please Please Me" (No. 1 on most lists but only No. 2 on Record Retailer) and "Love Me Do" (No. 17).

The Vinyl

This is the original slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest original pressings. The vinyl’s playing surface is lovely and very clean indeed. The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warps. The vinyl has retained its original sheen from new. Unbelievably rare to find like this. Importantly there are no audio sounding marks or needle marks that would cause any clicks ticks or pops that I heard at all.

These are the original Parlophone labels feature  The K.T tax code is stamped on side 2,''The Parlophone Co...'' rim text (only 1st press). The labels are rich in colour and are very clean all text is fully readable. Spindle hole is perfectly round with the minimum of marks as you can see from the pictures.

The Cover

This Is The Original UK issue Garrod & Lofthouse flip back cover with the large MONO top right hand corner. Front is in excellent condition with only a few creases and light corner wear for a 50 year old cover. No splits or tares. The original pinched ended spine is in super condition, all text is readable.

The back is also clean and bright very rare to find indeed again any creases or marks are minimal light ring wear but no nasty grubbiness. Unbelievably rare like this.
