Description
As this is a glass / framed print, it can be picked up either in the WEST END of central LONDON or EALING. Postage is possible, see below. During the 1980s I had the pleasure to meet and work with the late and great photographer DEZZO HOFFMAN. We were working on publicising his first books of BEATLES PHOTOGRAPHS that were being published at the time. This shot was given to me as a birthday present and was framed by Dezzo's favourite framing specialist ARTEFACT of 37 WINDMILL STREET, LONDON (CHINA TOWN to you and me!), very near his own studio. Dezzo took the shot in Paul's parent's kitchen (I think! I don't remember Menlove Avenue being mentioned) in Liverpool in either 1963 or '64 and it features JOHN & PAUL at the stove. The B&W matt print measures 14" x 12" and is dry mounted on white card. The black frame measures 20" x 16". Dezzo's signature is on the card at the bottom r/h corner. This print was not published at the time and I'm sure you Beatles experts will know if it has been since. This picture is sold without copyright, which of course remains with Dezzo's estate. Whatever the case, this photograph was taken, selected and given as a gift by Dezzo Hoffman, so in my books it is very special! I have stated in the sale details "collect only", however of course it is possible to ship the picture, but I will have to get a quote for the winner as the packing will be very substantial to protect the glass.
