Description
This is "Beatles For Sale." This is a first pressing issue on the Yellow & Black U.K. Parlophone label, PMC-1240. This record was released on December, 4 1964!
This issue has the first issue, UNCORRECTED title and credits for "Kansas City" printed on the label. (later pressings had Kansas City, Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey" and Jerry Leiber Mike Stoller/Penniman.
This is the very first Beatles album that was housed in a gate fold/uni-pak cover!
Also, "PARLOPHONE" begins the rim print. "Beatles For Sale" was the last album to have Parlophone listed on the rim print before the change over to GRAMMOPHONE.

This record has been fully play graded and rates a VG / VG+ sound quality. Just some periods of surface sound mainly heard between tracks. Very enjoyable listening.
The labels are VG+, with light spider web spindle marks.
The gate fold, uni-pak cover is rated VG minus. Wear to spine and a crease on front.
