While most of these records are in superb condition, they appear to have been radio station copies and, as such, one or both sides of the labels have one or more of the following markings:  (1) many have concentric rings or circles in red or black ink; usually found on the "play" side but occasionally on both sides. This will be noted as 'circles' under the label description and it will be noted if they are on one or both labels (2) in some cases x's appear on the labels, usually in black magic marker (3) in some cases, there will be a filing number sticker on one or both labels (4) Other defects might include some degree of wear or writing.  They will be noted.  IF DEFECTS ARE NOT NOTED, THIS MEANS THAT THE LABEL HAS NO DEFECTS AND IS BASICALLY FLAWLESS.

Labels: White, gray and black promotional; oval logo/gray border; circles on both sides (see photos) - in red ink on the a-side and blue ink on the b-side; light date stamp on both sides (May 27, 1963), two small x's on the a-side in pen

The date stamp adds a bit of history and authenticity to this record. Prior to 'Beatlemania' breaking around Christmas-time of that year, I had heard From Me to You played once on the radio and that was several months after this promotional 45 was shipped in May, 1963 and more than a half year before the Beatles 'invaded the U.S.' with their string of #1 hits.

Hi J. I have PLAY-GRADED both sides of this record through headphones and they play beautifully. Except for a bit of static when the needle is lowered BEFORE THE SONGS BEGIN, I do not hear any background noise. The sound is clear and crisp. There are no pops or clicks. Of course, there are no skips or no repeats either. Thanks for your interest.
