Description
The laminated, unavailable-elsewhere, original, Let It Be book, for sale, is in excellent condition; being an essential acquisition for any fan of The Beatles. This copy is complete, (printed copyright page – not the stuck in one). Unlike most this copy has not started to fall to bits. There are no loose pages and the spine is near perfect; the corners and edges are sharp: this copy has hardly been looked at.
VERY RARE PRINTING ERROR (NEVER SEEN ONE OF THESE BEFORE); THE SPINE APPEARS TO SAY ‘THE BEATLES GET BAC’, BUT IF YOU LOOK VERY CAREFULLY YOU CAN SEE THE REST OF THE ‘C’ AND THE MISSING ‘K’. THIS HAS NOT BEEN BLACKED IN BY SOME ZEALOT!
JUST TO PROVE THE POINT, TAKE A LOOK AT THE FRONT PICTURE, WHERE THERE APPEARS TO BE NO WHITE LINE UNDER RINGO AND GEORGE; IT IS THERE BUT COVERED BY THE BLACK. YOU CAN SEE ABOVE JOHN AND PAUL WHERE THE BLACK IS MISALIGNED TOO.
THIS BOOK SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ISSUED; IT’S LIKE THE FOURTH PROOF OF THE SGT.PEPPER ALBUM.
RARE AS HEN’S TEETH!
The bottom right-hand front corner of the spine has a very small piece of laminate missing (see picture), and inside the front cover the is some slight creasing. The back cover has some small creases with laminate lift. The top Left, back cover, corner has a small crease (see picture).Finally there is a small dot of white on the spine (see picture). Otherwise, a beautifully preserved copy of this 44 year old book.
