BEATLES - HELP - LP 1st ORIGINAL DUTCH SHELL COVER RARE
Shell had just started a huge marketing blitz called "Shell Helps" at the time and felt that The Beatles' Help album fitted the slogan perfectly. They then struck a deal with EMI Holland (BOVEMA) to print 2,000 pieces of the album sleeve (with the vinyl pressed in Sweden). The SHELL logo as a backdrop on the album cover. What's rare about this album is that it was given to Shell's sales staff ONLY and never made available to the general public.. hencce the rarity.
The Swedish-pressed vinyl is a lot rarer compared to the Dutch one and is the 1st and original combination.

Album's Weight : 250 grams
Cover - Perfect spine, bottom, top and straight opening edges, just let down by stains close to the top front and rear edges, slight discoloration in places and small bump close to the top right corner.. graded Near Excellent.
Labels - Clean and clear labels with crystal clear prints, spindle marks can be seen when viewed tilted..... graded Excellent.
Vinyl - Looks glossy.. two tiny cartridge marks could be seen (when viewed tolted) on Track 1 Side 1 ... graded Excellent+++ visually. Soft ticking sounds on Track 1 Side 1 and soft background statics could be heard during playback... graded Excellent+ to Excellent+++ aurally.
