Circa '69-'70 HELP! stereo on PARLOPHONE label ("ONE BOX" EMI logo), matrices YEX 168-1 / YEX 169-1 - original 1965 tube stamper. Cover graded EX, both front and back in nice condition (slight markings in the white). The label has 1 spindle mark on side 1 and none side 2. This copy plays with light anomalies inherent in British vinyl of the period, side 2 having more than side 1, plays clear without distortion, some background on side 2 including YESTERDAY, but still clear. The vinyl is shiny and extremely few hairlines. Been cleaned with a VPI record cleaner and played on a Linn Sondek LP 12.
Great tube feel with the warmth, strength, and smoothness missing from the later HJM transistor pressings. This a great way to acquire the same sound as an original 1963 pressing without the cost and searching for acceptable playback on heavier weight vinyl.
