Beatles – Help! LP 1st Press 1965
Original UK Mono 1st Press of The Beatles 5th UK album, released 6th August 1965 in excellent condition.
Housed within original laminated flip-back Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve with black and white / outline “Parlophone Company” logo / “Trade Mark of the Gramophone” text and “EMI” / “The Greatest Recording Organisation In The World”, front top left. Mid-sized outline “mono” top right. Complete with original tracing paper lined “Use Emitex…” die-cut inner sleeve.
First label variation with Arial print. Side A song writing credits and publishing are stated once at the end of the track list “(Lennon-McCartney)” “(* Harrison)” “Northern Songs NCB”. Side B song writing credits and publishing stated individually for each individual song. Black/Yellow Parlophone Labels. “P 1965” "THE GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD." perimeter print and "SOLD IN U.K SUBJECT TO...." label text.

Vinyl condition: -M Both sides of the vinyl are clean with only the odd tiny faint line that are only visible under very bright light.
A little spindle wear to both sides around the spindle hole and some spindle marks to the centre of the label around the spindle hole on both sides. On side A the spindle marks do trace a little further out on to the label. No writing, marks etc on either side.
Emitex inner sleeve is in excellent condition, no tears, with only a couple of creases to the corners.
Sleeve: EX. Very minor ring wear to the front cover, none to the back. It is clean from marks, scuffs and writing both inside and out. Perfectly flat. The front of the sleeve is in excellent condition, some very light surface wear to the laminate where ring wear is evident. Otherwise still maintaining its glossy surface. The white background of the front cover is very clean with no marks – no fading or discolouration other than a band of slight yellowing down the open edge of the sleeve. The back of the sleeve has no discolouration to the un-laminated cardboard and the text and black and white photographs are clean and clear.
There is hardly any scuffing to the corners of the sleeve and only one very small dent / chip to the laminate of the side seam on the flip back / spine edge. A minimal amount of finger damage to the cardboard edges of the opening.
Flip backs of the Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve are intact and sound with only some slight yellowing. The spine really is in excellent condition, bright white, clear with no damage. Laminate is intact with no creases, tears and or cracks. Title text of the spine is perfect with no damage or wear.
This sleeve is in excellent condition given its age of 46 years
