The BEATLES. *33* rpm 4 song EP. Japan. EAS30004. EMI Odeon Black label 33rpm vinyl record. 1980 reissue. Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. Purchased by me in 1981. EX Means this one looks great, very shiny, virtually Unplayed. Sleeve lightly handled, clean. Comes with solid center hole with small spindle opening,which most of these 33 EPs have. See “45cat” discography for detailed info. Great site!! Vinyl looks great and plays thru superbly. Japan has the best vinyl in the world!! Labels are clean on both sides, no writing. Super picture sleeve, clean front and back side. Sorry this one does not have the insert Lyric Sheet originally included!! There was NO OBI strip with this one!! The cover shows 900 Yen pricing, a great way to know when these were released, by pricing, on all Japan records. EX overall. My highest grade. A Great Collectable. Maybe 13 total Japan 4 song EPs issued in 60s and reissued in 1977-80. Not sure why originally pressed at 33 rpm, but several countries in S.America did the same. Lots to search through and pricing varies a lot on these EPs. Songs on this one: LONG TALL SALLY and MATCHBOX plus I FEEL FINE and SLOW DOWN. All 4 songs are on singles worldwide, but Long Tall Sally is not Common like the other 3 (meaning from US or UK as a single). Sally is Number 78 Hard To Find Beatles Song on 45 Single Worldwide, from Germany and Japan on 45 single in 60s. The other 3 songs are common! All Beatles UK EPs are MONO (except some versions of Magical Mystery Tour), BUT....this one from Japan is listed as STEREO (But reality is all 4 songs are Sim-Stereo, or Duophonic).
