Description
This is an original Parlophone label demo copy of The Beatles "Lady Madonna" 1968 7" single. As can be seen from the picture it is the usual green and white "A" label, cat number R5675. This ultra-rare collectors item was recently purchased by us in a collection of 200+ 60's demos from an ex-employee of Melody Maker magazine, and it was actually the Melody Maker review copy. However it doesn't look like they bothered to listen to it before reviewing it - the record appears to be unplayed. It is unmarked apart from a couple of very very minor surface marks (probably from sliding in and out of the sleeve), and there are no spindle marks around the centre hole. It comes complete with company sleeve. All in all, a superb addition to any major Beatles collection.
