Description
Very much sought after boxed album ------THE BEATLES - LET IT BE.
INCLUDES THE VERY RARE RED APPLE LOGO ON THE REVERSE OF THE RECORD SLEEVE.
Vinyl and Label: On the Apple label, Stereo, PCS 7096, (YEX.773), 1970 on label. Side One Matrix: YEX773-2U. Side Two Matrix: YEX774-2U. Labels clean, no writing or marks, few spindle marks, vinyl has a few surface scratches, but plays very well. It is as near to Excellent as you could possibly get, but for grading purposes I will state Very good ++.
LP Sleeve: Totally clean, free from any writing or stickers. Absolutely clean all round: Solid Red Apple Logo. Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. Must grade at Near Mint.
Inner: No marks at all, very clean, a few light creases and one corner turned up. It is in one piece and has Patent No 1.125.555. UK.
Get Back Book: Absolutely crisp and clean. No loose pages, no writing, no stickers. Only one slight thing to mention, slight separation from spine when opening book and looking at first page, this I've been told has occurred on 90% of Get Back books. Graded at NEAR MINT.
Inside Tray & Inner: Inner with the flaps is in one piece, clean and free from any writing or stickers, but as with this design, the flaps that are on view when it is placed inside the outer cover and tucked in have wear and creases. The tray that houses the book is in one piece, clean and free from writing or stickers, but does have one bit of damage in one of the corners where the top has come away from the side, but it still sits nicely together. Of course both items have some wear, consistent with its design, so if they have to have a grade, it would have to be Very good +
Outer Box: Clean and free from writing or stickers, The outer box has some wear on the edges, I think a grade of Very good. It also has a print on the reverse stating Printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse Limited ( Patents Pending ), this I've been told, is proof of a first press in 1970.
