The BEATLES. Boot LP from “Silver Greatest” Records. Condition is Goldmine EX vinyl. Just VG+ labels due to written corrections. EX sleeve, no writing on either side. Virtually UNPLAYED, probably only one time. One owner for 40 years. 10 Beatles 1969 songs directly from their time filming and recording for what became the movie and album “Let it be” released in 1970. That LP had 12 tracks, with additions of Maggie Mae and I Me mine. These 10 recordings can be found on CDs around the world, but these full size albums are irreplaceable! Not sure how many of this BOOTLEG LP were issued. There are 2 of this same album on eBay at up to $100. And the Video Cassette and even the DVD of LET IT BE are so hard to find to get this Soundtrack and these songs and to be able to play just the cuts you want. This is a great collection of recordings, intended to be the EMI “GET BACK” album in 1969, put off till 1970 so Phil Spector could “update and improve” the material. So, all these tracks are alternate versions to the Phil Spector produced LP. Especially interesting are the long version of DIG IT, and the original fast version of ACROSS THE UNIVERSE.
