The Beatles
Love Me Do / PS I Love You Parlophone 45 R 4949
An absolute first commercial pressing from 1962, this features the short-lived early label style with 'Ardmore & Beechwood' shifted to the right. The b-side includes the WOZT tax code combination, again indicating a very early pressing.
The a-side stamper is an early ZT 1P. However, the b-side features the scarce JR stamper, usually reserved for initial demo copies. (My camera is not great, but the JR stamp can just be seen in photo 3)
Condition
A couple of light spindle marks to labels. Both sides show neat name / initials and on the a-side there is a sticker residue on 'Parlophone'. Vinyl retains nice sheen to both sides, some superficial marks. Plays through with no skips or stalling, light crackle here and there but overall great sound.
Graded Very Good+
