Love Me Do / PS I Love You Parlophone 45 R 4949
An absolutely stunning early first commercial pressing from 1962. This disc has single letter stampers - including the "G" first stamper! - and the 'ZT' purchase tax code in the run-out, indicating a pressing prior to November 1962, so this was probably in a record shop on the day of release.
The stampers are early single letters: A-side ZT 1 M B-side ZT 1 G By the side B spindle hole there is a faint "Z" embossed but I can't see any other letters there.
Condition
With just a few light spindle trails to labels, this is a very carefully played and well cared for disc. Both labels are clean, free of any writing or other marks and the silver text is bright and unworn.
The vinyl retains beautiful sheen to both sides, very close inspection under artificial light reveals a few faint sleeve removal marks. Both sides play through with no interruptions. The audio is superb, no interference, near perfect.
Graded as Near MINT Condition
Original striped sleeve is unmarked, no damage, just some light creasing.
