BEATLES LP LET IT BE 1970 STEREO PCS 7096 green APPLE label with RED APPLE on the back sleeve

 

On offer is THE BEATLES LP entitled LET IT BE released in STEREO in the UK on APPLE PCS 7096 in 1970. This is on the green APPLE label – with the red APPLE on the back cover of the sleeve. The matrix numbers of the LP are - SIDE 1 = YEX 773 2U  /  SIDE 2 = YEX 774 2U.

 

This is a first pressing – the Box Set LPs (as per this example) had the red APPLE whereas the later issue of the standard album – without the box set – had a green APPLE at the back. The red APPLE on the back of the sleeve is MUCH RARER than the green APPLE issues. AND this is the rare RED APPLE 1st Press.     

 

This example – from my personal collection of BEATLES LPs that are now being auctioned on eBay – is in LOVELY condition as follows-

 

  • The sleeve is in nice EX- condition – with minor creasing only and some ring wear.
  • The LP spine is fully intact and is in nice condition – the LP has been kept safe in a plastic sleeve for many years which has helped to maintain its nice appearance.
  • The disc is in visually in lovely EX/EX+ condition with a nice sheen and very clear labels.
  • The LP plays EX throughout with a nice full stereo sound audible on my hi-fi when I test played it to prepare it for sale on eBay.
  • The disc is housed in a plain white sleeve.
  • The LP cover AND the disc AND the labels are all free from any writing or other marks – it is a really nice copy.   

Overall this is a lovely first press LET IT BE – Beatles LP – on the Green Apple label with the RED apple logo on the back cover – which signifies it to be an early press.
