Description
This is a rare original British
Yellow & Black Label LP
titled
"A Collection Of Beatles Oldies"
by
The Beatles
(EMI / Parlophone Records PMC 7016) (England) (1966) (Mono)
---------
This is an original pressing, NOT a recent reissue.
See photos for track listing.
*******************
It has super early matrix numbers as follows-
Side 1 XEX 619 1 G
Side 2 XEX 620 1 G
The records have the yellow and black Parlophone labels that say made in Gt. Britain. The jacket says "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd." on the back in the lower right corner (see photos). It has the EMI photo advertising inner sleeve that shows other EMI albums that were available at the time.
--------------------------------
The record is in amazing condition with a nice bright lustre and no needle scratches. There is a small discolored U shape that is in the same spot on both sides, but there doesn't appear to be any extra noise created by it, no ticks, pops or snaps etc. Under intense light you can see a patch of ultra-fine wisps of dust scratches that you really have to hut for. There are no spindle marks on either labels and no wear.
The jacket is quite nice and just shows a little wear that you would expect from such a light weight jacket. There are no promo holes, cuts or splits. The spine is absolutely flat and straight.
The records have been professionally cleaned on a VPI- 27 Typhoon record cleaning machine and then again on a KL Audio Ultrasonic record cleaning machine.
The photos are of the actual item for sale.
