On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Let It Be' (BOX SET) and is a 1970 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Dark Green Apple label!!!!  THIS LP IS QUITE SIMPLY ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER BEATLES RECORDS YOU CAN FIND!!!!  IT IS ALSO ONE OF THE HARDEST BEATLES LPs TO FIND!!!! This Box Set (as mentioned above) is 100% COMPLETE with the laminated outer casing, the black card under tray, the black card book holder, the Get Back Book and the "Let It Be" (red apple) LP!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-3U. The stamper codes are 1(with 6 below it)/GOT & 2/GOM. The Cat. No. for the Box Set package is PXS 1 and the Cat. No on the record is PCS 7096 on the ORIGINAL 'DARK' Green Apple label (see picture) and is a STEREO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 ULTRA faint MEGA light NON sounding hairline traces (only visible under the BRIGHTEST of lights), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visuall with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle!!!! The record also has NO background sound AT ALL - apart from an absolutely MEGA low level TINY fractional amount on 1 run on groove ONLY!!!!  The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear, and absolutely NO distortion either!!!!  The record must STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better (though most would grade FAR higher)!!!!  The record is also fractionally uneven (barely ANY) - though this DOES NOT affect the play in the slightest!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'patents' white inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press 'Narrow Spine' Red Apple Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated Red Apple back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! There is also NO splits, NO rips, and NO tears!!!! The only VERY minor thing to mention is some light general laminate glazing under light!!!!  But make NO mistake about it - this is a STUNNING flat looking 1st Press 'Narrow Spine' Red Apple Cover and MUST grade Excellent(Minus) if not better!!!!

A Box Set like this is always a challenge to describe - but I will describe EVERYTHING very clearly below and hide nothing. Firstly the 1st Press Outside 'Patents Pending' Laminated Case is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It still retains a STUNNING shape to it - with flat vertical sides and a SUPERB box shape!!!!  There is NO crushing and NO flattening either!!!!  It also has SUPERB shiny laminate which is VERY hard to find on this Box Set!!!!  It has NO laminate lifting, only a VERY few light creases, and the edges are VERY straight indeed with NO feathering!!!! Even the corners are in BRILLIANT condition - with only VERY slight wear (NOT through the colour)!!!!  The only VERY minor defect to mention is a TINY split on the bottom left BACK opening edge - though this has been virtually PERFECTLY repaired at some point in the past and is virtually UNNOTICEABLE!!!!  There is also 2 or 3 minor indentations on the black bottom black of the cover - though these have NOT broken the laminate and again are VERY easy to overlook!!!!  This Laminated Outer Case MUST grade Very Good++++ and is INCREDIBLY hard to find in this condition!!!!  Next is the cardboard fold-over under tray & also the cardboard book holder.  However - before I describe these, I must make clear that these are of a slightly different card to those I have seen previously (being FULLY black and more 'matt').  I am not saying that they are not original (there are AT LEAST 2 known documented variations of the book holder & outer tray to this LP in 'texture' & 'shape') - but it is important to make everything VERY clear to ANY potential bidder.  It is also important to make clear that the size and shape of both the book holder & out tray are the same as previous ones I have seen and indeed the previous owner of this Box Set owned it for over 27 years - originally buying it from a Beatles Convention in the early 1980s in Liverpool - so this Box Set has a VERY good history to it!!!!  And indeed - like the rest of the Box Set they are in STUNNING condition!!!!  Both the book holder & under tray (as mentioned above) are in BRILLIANT condition with NO rips, NO splits, only VERY slight edge wear (to the VERY points of the edges ONLY), NO feathering, only VERY slight corner wear and both retain a VERY nice shape indeed!!!! Both the under tray & book holder MUST grade Excellent(Minus) if not better!!!!  The 1st Press Get Back Book is also in SUPERB condition with NO loose pages, STUNNING glossy laminate, barely ANY creases AT ALL, and NO wear!!!!  It must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! The ULTRA RARE Apple Promotional Poster is in STUNNING condition (see pictures) - with just the ORIGINAL 'Fold lines' from original insertion into the Box Set!!!!  THIS IS A STUNNING LOOKING BOX SET AND VERY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! THIS BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 'PROMOTIONAL' APPLE POSTER - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
