On offer here is a VERY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Love Me Do" by The Beatles and is a UK 1962 1st pressing on the 1st Press Red Parlophone label!!!! The B side is called 'P.S. I Love You'. THIS SINGLE IS MASSIVELY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND!!!! THIS WAS THE BEATLES FIRST SINGLE EVER RELEASED AND RARELY EVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! THIS IS THE 1962 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS RED PARLOPHONE LABEL, 'FIRST PUBLISHED TEXT', AND 'THE PARLOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT IN UPPER/LOWER CASE, AND 1ST PRESS PARLOPHONE COMPANY SLEEVE!!!! THIS SINGLE IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AND MASSIVELY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The matrix numbers are 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N. The mother and stamper codes are 1/M & 1/T (MEGA early stamper codes - and BOTH from the first mother)!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK Parlophone 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Red Parlophone label and the Cat No is 45-R 4949. Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition overall (see pictures), with NO writing, and NO wear - though this record has at some point in the past lost its centre. The record isnt perfect visually - but still plays VERY well!!!! This record does have a few light hairlines, 2 or 3 surface marks, and some VERY light general scuffing visible under light - though the record is still VERY shiny looking!!!! The record plays with barely ANY clicks/pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss, and only some typical light crackle in places. This single must grade Good. Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Parlophone Company sleeve!!!! THIS IS SINGLE IS MASSIVELY RARE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND - AND ALTHOUGH THIS SINGLE MAY NOT BE PERFECT - THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE CHANCE FOR SOMEONE TO OWN A 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING OF THE 1ST EVER BEATLES SINGLE AT A CHEAPER PRICE THAN THE HUGE AMOUNT REQUIRED TO OWN A MINT COPY!!!!
