BEATLES - Love Me Do - Original black Pakistan Pressing

Very rare original release with Lennon-McArtney credit

Condition: - /VG+ both sides

Comments: We have no original sleeve for this record and it will be supplied with a card sleeve and poly-lined inner. This record is conservatively graded and could stretch to EX-. The record is flat, and any suggestion to the contrary in the photo's below is due to the lighting conditions only! Side 1 shows no scratches of any significance at all. there are one or two tiny pressing dimples and the disc has lost some lustre but it looks great. The label is all clear with no marks, tears or writing. The matrix stamper number is machine-made, not hand scratched, and reads 7XCE 17144_TIA at 6 0'clock. There is also a 'tax letter' R at 3 o'clock.

Side 2 shows a little more surface wear with some very fine hairlines, one of which provides a barely audible (on my set) tic for about 5 turns. The disc has lost some lustre but it looks great. The label is all clear with no marks, tears or writing as per side 1 but also bears a stamp perforated sticker from a shop in Nairobi, which may be clearly seen on the second scan. The matrix stamper number is machine-made, and reads 7XCE_ 17144_TIB at 6 0'clock. There is also a 'tax letter' G at 3 o'clock. The labels appear to have been pressed in aligned with the stampers. The record has not been 'cleaned' in any way, so as not to affect the label quality or disturb the sale sticker, and one or two prints are visible to the runoff groove. These could be removed if desired.

Beatles fans will know just how rare this item is. It may be many years before you have the opportunity to get another, and the condition is as good as any you are likely to come across for sale - oh, I forgot - there aren't any for sale other than this one !

Grading is generally per UK record collector standards and the cover will only be graded if it is specific to the record. If you wish to have a more full explanation of grades, look here. The photos were taken under slightly low light conditions, so apologies if the quality is not the greatest. Records are visually graded unless otherwise stated in the description.
