Description
The Beatles 'Magical Mystery Tour' LP. Capitol Records U.S. 1967 #SMAL-2835. (see picture). Original late 70's purple & silver Capitol label with NO barcode. Long out-of-print!
Vinyl look barely unplayed, near mint! Labels are clean & bright with no writing, wear or spindle marks.
Gatefold cover, with large 22-page booklet, is in NM/Mint condition! No writing, splits, ringwear, dents or marks. Perfect spine.
NOTE: Booklets were only issued with the initial 1978 pressing of this purple label and then dropped because of the expense making this a VERY rare edition indeed. This is the only one I've ever seen!
The old '50's style' Capitol purple & silver label was briefly brought back between 1978 & 1983. I have more Beatles lp's on this label for auction, all NM/MINT, so check 'em out. Some folks believe these were the best sounding Beatle pressings. All of them have no barcode so they are obviously early issues.
You'll never get this full-bodied rich analog sound from an inferior digital recording! Nicest copy of this rare album I've ever seen!
