Description

Here's a unique artifact of Beatles ephemera. It's the 1978 radio contest prize from WNEW-FM's Beatles A-Z contest: a still-sealed copy of Magical Mystery Tour with a letter from longtime DJ and Beatles documentarian Dennis Elsas. The letter is taped to the outside of the sealed LP's shrinkwrap, just as it was original mailed to the prizewinner. Note that the gatefold cover has a hole at the upper right corner and a bump at the tip of the upper left. See pics above!
