Revolver - New Zealand World Record Club (WRC) release
The World Record Club was very small in New Zealand during the 60's and 70's and released LPs specifically for its members only and this is one such release.
This Apple label pressing was released after 1972 because of the EMI reference on the top of the label (HMV NZ changed its name to EMI New Zealand on 1st. of May 1972).
The label bore the correct Parlophone catalog number as well as a unique WRC number and was completely reset from the EMI Apple release at the same time. Only 5 Beatles LPs were released this way and this one is possibly the hardest to find!
The correct WRC inner sleeve is still present and in excellent overall condition.
