THE BEATLES-A COLLECTION OF BEATLES OLDIES PARLOPHONE PCS 7016 STEREO FIRST PRESSING RELEASE DECEMBER 1966
(YEX.619) 1G, A1 Stamper Ernest J Day & Co Ltd London. W1 Cover Sleeve MINT- Vinyl MINT- Label MINT- Inner Sleeve EXCELLENT
This is one of the best copies of this album you are likely to find; The record has been stored in a plastic outer sleeve in damp free purpose built storage unit from new. It has been played a few times on a high quality turntable & cartridge of which prevent me from describing the item as mint.
Picture 5 above depicts a graph of a recent digitisation of the LP, the flat curve in the middle is the silent groove in-between tracks 4&5 side 1 ("Help" & "Michelle") This illustrates the lack of background noise, whist the peak curves clearly show the stereo effects of the left & right channels.
Apart from the overall superb condition, there are three items of note that add to its rarity; The Ernest J Day cover (most were Garrod & Lofthouse) The black "stereo" on the front cover is usually printed higher on the sleeve (white background) The "STEREO" on the record label is in large bold print. Thank you for your interest & happy bidding! N.B. This item will be very well packed & dispatched promptly.
