Description
This is the original UK LP by the BEATLES, SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEART CLUB BAND, 1st Press MONO, released in June 1967 on the black and yellow PARLOPHONE label PMC 7027, with "GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" credit around the rim of the label's, and "Sold in the UK" label credits. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- XEX 637-1, SIDE 2:- XEX 638-1, EMI stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 1 / ANL, SIDE 2:- 3 / ADA. The LP is complete with its original red, pink and white inner sleeve, and the original SGT PEPPER 12" by 12" cut-out insert.
The original UK 1st issue Mono fully laminated Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold cover is in a STUNNING EX+++ condition, very very minimal wear, the cover is BEAUTIFULLY clean, inside and out, maintaining all it's original bright vibrant colour, their is no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact and readable, the cover has lovely sharp edges and corners, STUNNING COVER!.
The vinyl is in EX condition, maintaining all it's original gleaming shine and lustre, the vinyl plays superbly, EX+++, playing with crisp, clear clarity, with only a hint of light crackle mainly inbetween tracks, STUNNING MONO.
The labels are in EX+++ condition lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindal hole shows only minimal wear, KT tax code is embossed in the centre of side 2's label.
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1967 UK red, pink and white inner sleeve and in EX++ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, great condition.
The original UK 12" by 12" SGT. PEPPER cut-out insert is in MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, no rips or tears, the cut-out maintains all it's original strong colour, no fading, STUNNING condition.
Altogether a SUPERB copy of this original 1967 UK 1st Press MONO LP, by the BEATLES, SGT. PEPPERS LONELY HEART CLUB BAND, COMPLETE.
