Description

This sale is for a copy of "Songs, Pictures & Stories" by The Beatles. This is from 1964 (1st pressing) on Vee Jay VJ-1092. This is the original pressing with a 3/4 gatefold cover & it is in very nice condition. The songs are "I Saw Her Standing There", "Misery", "Anna", "Chains", "Boys", "Ask Me Why", "Please Please Me", "Baby It's You", "Do You Want To Know A Secret", "Taste Of Honey", "There's A Place" & "Twist & Shout".

Super nice!

Make sure to check out the photos below because they tell the story.

Condition

  • Cover : The gatefold cover is in VG+ to VG++ condition with some rub wear on the edges (no splits), just the beginning of ring on the back & a tiny white spot on the front but otherwise this is very solid. The inside of the gatefold cover is in NM condition & has never been fully opened as it still has that new sound when you partially open it. *****PLEASE NOTE***** In the photo below, the spot at the bottom of the cover is from the flash of my camera. This is NOT on the cover. Flash only.

  • Vinyl : The vinyl shines like new with all of its original gloss & is in VG condition with light scuffs/hairlines & plays very well with occasional background noise & a couple of pops. No skips.

  • Labels : The labels are in VG+ condition.
