PLEASE PLEASE ME was the first LP I ever owned, I never got to play it much because I never owned a record player, but my parents purchased a Radiogram in the late ‘60s, so it was played a few times and then I left home. It has been with me ever since. I have played it recently and every track is in very good condition. The record is also in very good condition, very clean, but has a few light scuffmarks. They do not affect the sound quality at all, with absolutely no crackling or any other foreign noises. In my opinion the sound quality is excellent. The record does not wobble, is not warped and runs as true as it did when new.

The record label is in very good condition on both sides with little wear to the centre. Credits as you can see by the photographs include (Dick James Mus. Co.) and (Northern Songs Ltd.)

The stamper codes are, (side 1) 1 @ 9 o’clock and T @ 3 o’clock and on, (side 2) 1 @ 11 o’clock & H @ 4 o’clock.

The matrix numbers are XEX421-1N and XEX422-1N

The cover shows some wear (just like me) and you can read Angus McBean on the bottom right front and Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London PMC 1202 PCS 3042 on the bottom right back. It has the original EMI inner sleeve and also an advertising sleeve as seen in photographs. I believe this record to be in very good condition. It has been kept in its sleeve and rarely handled or played since I bought it in 1963. I hope it goes to a good home. (Like me eventually!)
