Description

The Beatles - "Please Please Me" - 3 & 3/4 inches per second twin track mono tape record - original 1963 first release (at same time as vinyl record) - catalogue number TA-PMC-1202.

This item is in lovely condition. The original five inch "Emitape" spool with circular Emitape stickers both sides. Tested and plays perfectly. Intact and unbroken Emitape spool. Warranty packing slip enclosed (see photo) and red "Emitape" leaflet. All complete. There is a small circular green old  style Parlophone logo sticker on the Emitape spool. (This is often missing - see separate photo). Pink tax code "star" symbol on the base box. White leader tape and red trailing leader tape with titles etc. printed on it.

There are NO split corners to the box base or lid, no scuffs, no tears, no marks and no writing. Solid and clean! This lovely item has clearly been little used and carefully looked after most probably by an audiophile expert who appreciated top sound quality on expensive equipment.

 Could not realistically be in better condition. Money refund if not satisfied.

If you are looking for investment, these Beatles tapes, released at the same time as the original vinyl album, are significantly rarer than their respective vinyl albums.

I apologise for placing it near the upper end of the current market price range - but it really is a nice one.
