Description
This is the VERY RARE Black & Gold MONO UK 1963 Pressing called 'Please Please Me' and is EXTREMELY rare indeed!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP IN EVERY RESPECT!!!! THIS BLACK AND GOLD PRESSING HAS RARE 'Dick James Mus. Co." CREDITS. This is an ORIGINAL Black & Gold pressing, with the Black & Gold Parlophone labels 'The Parlophone Company' edge text, an E.J.Day Sleeve and a Polythene lined Emitex inner. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N. The Cat. No is PMC 1202 on the ORIGINAL Black & Gold Parlophone label (see pictures).
THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE BLACK AND GOLD PARLOPHONE UK PRESSING OF THIS LEGENDARY LP AND IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND!!!! THIS ONE CERTAINLY ISNT PERFECT - BUT IT IS VERY PLAYABLE AND DOES PLAY THROUGH WITH NO JUMPS, - AND STILL LOOKS OVERALL QUITE PRESENTABLE (though obviously not perfect).
Vinyl matrix numbers: XEX421-1N & XEX422-1N (I can't make out the stampers. Side 1 appears to have a 1 or an I. Side 2 appears to have either 11 or possibly an H?)
Vinyl: Very Good both sides. No JUMPS, plays great although with static between tracks (gets better as the record plays and no nasty pops. Also it is lovely and flat.
Labels: Side 1 - Very Good. Side 2 - Very Good. (Side 1 has the ZT tax code printed either side of the spindle).
Outer Sleeve: Poor/Fair. Note this is the ORIGINAL SLEEVE (beware switches!!!! The E.J.Day FLIPBACK Cover is the EARLIEST type with the 'Angus McBean' to the far right. Later copies had this in print slightly higher in the corner).
Inner Emitrex Sleeve: Good
Payment: Paypal preferred (or UK cheques only please). Buyer pays postage.
