Description

On offer here is a VERY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Please Please Me" by The Beatles and is a UK 1963 1st pressing on the Red Parlophone label!!!! The B side is called 'Ask Me Why'. THIS IS A VERY RARE SINGLE INDEED AND VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS WAS THE BEATLES 2ND SINGLE AND VERY VERY HARD TO FIND INDEED ON THE RED 1ST PRESS PARLOPHONE LABEL!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS COPY LOOKS STUNNING, HAS PERFECT LABELS, AN AWESOME 1ST PRESS COMPANY SLEEVE, AND PLAYS SUPERBLY!!!! THIS IS ALSO THE VERY 1ST PRESSING FROM 1963 WITH 'FIRST PUBLISHED TEXT', A RED PARLOPHONE LABEL, NO 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, AND 'THE PARLOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT IN UPPER/LOWER CASE!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A 1963 1ST PRESSING OF THIS RARE SINGLE IS STUNNING CONDITION!!!! The matrix numbers are 7XCE 17217-1N & 7XCE 17218-1N. The mother and stamper codes are 1/L & 2/L (very early stamper codes indeed!), and there is also an 'MPT' Tax Code on the run off groove. This is an ORIGINAL UK Parlophone 1st Pressing on the Red Parlophone label and the Cat No is 45-R 4983. Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with STUNNING unfaded silver print, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! These are one of the BEST sets of labels I have seen for this single!!!! The record is in STUNNING condition and retains a SUPERB shine!!!! Most of these 60s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays STUNNINGLY with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss, and NO crackle (apart from the VERY lowest POSSIBLE touch on one run on groove - barely ANY)!!!! Being absolutely HYPER critical the record is very VERY slightly uneven though this is very VERY slight indeed and certainly does not in ANY WAY affect the play AT ALL (it is also virtually unnoticeable too)!!!! The single must grade Excellent(Minus) if not better and really does look SUPERB!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in a 1st Press company sleeve which is in AWESOME 'barely touched' condition!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a great looking record and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE single!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1963 PARLOPHONE UK 1ST PRESSING OF "PLEASE PLEASE ME" BY THE BEATLES IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!!
