BEATLES Please Please Me (PMCO 1202) Australia 1960s Mono.
Here's a RARE Australia Press of PLEASE PLEASE ME on Black & Gold Labels. Very hard to find these nowadays..almost 50 YEARS OLD!! There's some 12 or more "very slight" label variations of this pressing, so please check the labels to reference whether you have this one.
EMI Aust is printed under the line. Label Credits are :
Side 1: LEEDS / CASTLE / TU-CON. Side 2: LEEDS / PINCUS-GIL / CASTLE.
This copy has it's quite alot of wear & tear. The Cover is Fair (see pics), tape, name on reverse, name on label, seamware etc.. Similarly the Vinyl is VG- has lots of scuffing & marks. Nothing feelable. The great news is this beautiful old MONO plays through Excellent. Only a bit of noise in between tracks. No skips or loud noise. These Early MONO's where REALLY fantastically pressed!!
Better Copies fetch $300-400...so it's priced accordingly...obviously this copy has flaws (well loved), although plays great..and in truth i've seen worse cover's than this one.
Very difficult to find, don't miss!!
