Description
This is a UK mono 4th press with "THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD......", "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963" but without "SOLD IN THE UK....." Released on Parlophone, catalogue no. PMC 1202. Comes with its original "USE EMITEX......" trace-lined inner sleeve, housed within a flipback outer sleeve. Matrix numbers etched into the vinyl are: side 1: XEX 421-1N, side 2: XEX 422-1N.
CONDITION: Vinyl is very good and has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. There is the odd light pop or click here and there, nothing serious. Outer sleeve has some small writing on the rear and small scuffs on 2 of the corners but is otherwise very good. Inner sleeve has a split in the middle of one edge, about 3 inches long. I generally follow Record Collector's grading system but please see my "ME" page for a fuller description of my gradings.
